Women In Leadership: Brunch and Panel Discussion

On Saturday, November 1st, the University of Cape Town hosted a Women In Leadership Brunch and Panel Discussion at the Randall Museum in San Francisco.

The panel featured four incredible UCT women alumnae who are all leaders in their fields.

Seema Dala, Kori Kelley Meehan, Liz Jarvis-Shean, and Aisha Pandor shared insights on their journeys as women leaders and how they inspire others through their work.

The resilient spirit of a woman

On 13 December 2018, a message was delivered to the University of Cape Town (UCT) community. Part of the communication read, “Council made the historic decision to rename Memorial Hall after Khoi heroine Sarah Baartman.” The name replaced Jameson Memorial Hall, a long-standing designation.
